HANFN-Q and HANFN-Q are high latitude varieties and are normally grown around May though where there are milder temperature ranges it may be possible to plant earlier

HANFN-H and Q if growing for grain production should be row spaced at 60-70cm and plant spacing should be 40-50 cm. The plant will branch from 50 cm above the ground and will yield 600-900 kilos of dried grain per acre ( 1350-2100 kg per HA) For grain production the sowing rate is reduced to 3.4 to 5 kg per acre. The plant at these spacings will reach 1.5 to 1.7 meters.
